Thanks for the Perspective Ryan

My cousin's son Ryan is visiting for the week.  He is "lucky" (as my kids say) to be an only child, and it seems he is enjoying being a part of our chaotic family this week.  Last night, Tom and I were grumpy and tired, since Sean had decided the night before he needed to wake up several times.  Andrew had been being rotten to Sean most of the day, and Kira came home from school just in time to be rotten to Andrew.  I was at the point that I was ready to send all three of our children home with Ryan when I heard something that changed my mind.  Ryan stated at the table, "this family is awesome" with a big grin on his face.

Thanks Ryan, they are awesome.  Even in their moodiness and meaness, I do love them, and am glad we are a family.  I am even more glad Ryan was there to remind me of that.
