Kira's First Parade...

and she rocked it. This year the band is a really good group and I am proud to say that Kira is one of them. This morning they marched in their first parade at Fog Fest which takes place just down the street from our house. She was really nervous, but you would have never guessed.
Way to go Kira!
It was so fun watching her we all wanted to jump in and join the band. In fact, we did follow along behind and were in the parade ourselves.

Sean Turns 1

Today is the day and last night we partied it up. I still can't believe it has been an entire year. I guess that is what they are suppose to do, grow up.

Maybe I am Not that Talented

I suffer from a condition I like to call, "Oh I Can Do That." I like to watch people do things and I immediately think, "Oh I Can Do That." What happens a lot of times is a not so great result, and a lot of time wasted. After seeing my sisters adorable turtle cake she made for her son Connor's birthday I decided I would make Sean a cake for his 1st birthday. What started out being a basketball has ended up looking like an orange bouquet of flowers with more icing on it then anyone would want to eat. This picture actually makes it look way better then it does in person. When finishing I remembered why I keep Mazetti's Bakery on speed dial. Just hope they can do a cake by tomorrow night.

A Family Walk

We spend a lot of time down at the beach and the Pacifica pier. Our family often walks, ride bikes, or ride scooters to the pier and home. Since Sean started walking we decided it was time to let him participate other than just riding in the stroller. It was slow moving at times but good thing Kira and Andrew had their scooters so they didn't have to keep Sean's pace.

Sean Plays the Wii

At least he thinks he does. He hasn't figured out yet that you have to hold the controls to actually do something. We won't tell him just yet.

Thanks Rayman Raving Rabbids!

Thanks to this Wii game, I now have an 8 year old that sings, "O Yes it's Ladies Night" by Keith Sweat, all over the house.
It has given me many giggling moments.

Sean's Walking but Prefers Standing on His Head.

Today Sean decided he was now going to walk. He has been walking
all over our house. The minute I pulled out the camera he decided he would rather stand on his head, so this is what I got. Maybe I will get lucky with some video tomorrow.

Jeannie I am so Glad you Shared

My sister in law Jeannie sent me this picture she took of Sean this summer. I just can't stop looking at his beautiful eyes. I will think of this picture when he is throwing a fit, slapping me in the face or crying at 2am. Thanks Jeannie!

Ward Campout

No sleep, but so much fun. We had good food, great company, bonfire skits and s'mores, and fun games. We even learned that Sean loves fire. Can't wait to do it again next year.
