Will not be winning Mother of the Year....

anytime soon.
Yesterday I set Sean in the middle of our king size bed thinking he couldn't crawl that far yet and jumped in the shower. Needless to say I heard a thud and realized he had crawled right off the edge onto the floor. He wasn't happy, but no visible damage that I could see.

Today I walked out to our laundry room (yes it is outside) and didn't unlock the door and locked myself out of the house leaving Sean napping in his crib. Thankfully, I had my cell phone in my pocket and my friend Nancy has a spare key to our house (she uses it as her vacation home when we go out of town). I called her house to find her daughter Hillary home and she was able to come let me in. I found Sean awake in his crib patiently waiting for someone to come get him. Good thing he had no idea what was going on. Thanks Hillary for rescuing Sean.

I am sure there will be many more happenings like these over the next few years. I can remember many dumb things I did while Andrew was young and he has survived so far. Keep your fingers crossed that Sean makes it to a year old.
