the temperatures rise, and the only thing to do is go to the beach.
I picked the kids up from school today and decided piano, homework and my phone calls could wait.
The best part is that these heat waves are short lived. We hit the beach on the first day before the rest of the peninsula finds out the beaches are warm, and we beat the crowds. The weather was perfect, the crowds were non existent but of course the water was still cold. It was a great day.

I really miss the beach. It is probably a good thing that I don't live close to it, I would never get anything done. LOL
