This just about sums up our walk yesterday at the pier. You never know what you are going to get when you venture out on the Pacifica pier, yesterday was pretty exciting.

| The pelicans are getting well fed by the fishermen. They hang out and don't mind you taking a close look. This is as close as I would let Sean get. |

| A baby Thresher shark was caught by a fisherman. |

| We got a quick look before its head was cut off. This lead to a great discussion with my 3 year old about the circle of life. Oh the things you can learn right here in Pacifica. |
