This past weekend was the kick off to Band Season in our house. This means that Kira will be away most Saturdays until Christmas and at practice after school 3 days a week. She is one busy girl.They marched in the Fog Fest parade this last weekend. We love this since it is walking distance from our house. We get to go watch her in the parade and then hang out and watch the over weight belly dancers, and half naked mermaid on the back of an old car. I will spare you those pictures and stick with the one I got of Kira. I love this sometimes "ghetto" town we live in.
If you look closely you can see we got her to smile.

I found you! I went to fogfest but missed the band! I'm so glad you posted a photo of Kira all spiffy in her band uniform! How fun!!
