Goodbye to Michael Jackson

I was saddened to hear that Michael Jackson died today. Yes he turned into quite the freak, but he was still the guy behind Billy Jean and was the guy in a yellow poster on my wall as a kid. (I left out that I often kissed that poster good night).

Just a few years ago, we visited Tom sister Marci and her husband Brad who live near Neverland Ranch outside of Los Olivos. Our kids at the time didn't know who he was, but we were sure to have them do the thriller stance (above) and Andrew got in a crotch grab (below). It was all for a good laugh then, but I am glad I got these pictures.

Do you think my Michael Jackson doll in the garage is now worth something?
I also have to add that Tom was more sad about Farrah Fawcett. I know he had her poster on his wall at some point.

There wasn't an american boy alive between the ages of 8 and 15 in 1976 that *didn't* have that poster. RIP Farrah and Michael.

I too had "that" poster on my wall. In the end, they were both weird, but that poster was pretty nice!
