It's hard to believe 10 years ago I gave birth to this guy. He arrived 2 weeks early after my water broke in the middle of the night. I used to think it was the sushi I ate the night before, but I have since learned his personality is a lot like mine. He was just ready to take on the world, even as an infant, and there was no need to wait those extra 2 weeks. He came out quiet, with his eyes wide open. I remember staring at his enormous eyes looking right at me and feeling like I had an old soul, or an alien.
This year his requests were pretty simple. He wanted to be sung to by his cousins during the Porter reunion, and see the new Harry Potter. There was also a request for cash, which I have yet to pay up. I have a feeling a $20.00 will not do anymore.
Anyways, Happy Birthday Andrew!
We love you, and our family wouldn't be the same without you.
