While in Los Olivos this past weekend we spent a morning at La Purisima Mission State Park. The weather was perfect and it was fun to see how life was lived. I am certain, I would not have enjoyed living at a Mission but it was fun to explore knowing I could leave and sleep in a nice bed that night.
Kira and Andrew loved the activities and were pretty busy exploring. Sean on the other hand preferred to play in the dirt and run free in the open spaces. Thanks to Aunt Marcy for showing us around. It was a great day.
Kira and Andrew making mud bricks.
Mixing the mud with straw, using your feet. So fun!
Sean found his own mud.
Andrew making corn tortillas.
All of us in the church. It was refreshing to see that Sean behaved the same in a Catholic Church as he does in the LDS church.
Sean doing what he loves best, playing in the dirt.
Saying hello to a goat named Luna, that Sean kept calling a dog.
