A Charlie Brown Christmas

No one in our house wanted to spend Christmas keeping Sean away from a Christmas tree. I was not only afraid that he would destroy all the ornaments within reach, but that he would also try to scale the tree. We all decided that this year our tree would be small and placed up high enough that Sean can't get near it. We ended up with a live tree potted that we will plant in the yard after the holidays. It is placed upon a lovely folding table (a little ghetto, I know) and out of Sean's reach.
At least we didn't end up with a cactus which is what Tom and the kids wanted. I had to veto that idea right away.
Maybe next year we will go back to the large tree.

Andrew was telling us about your tree and he didn't sound disappointed at all. He said that you are going to plant it after Christmas this year and cut it down for your tree next December. Sounds like fun plan.

We started doing the table top tree after Amber was born, and we've been doing it that way for the past 8 years. It actually works pretty well :).

We had to do that for a long time...Chelsea didn't touch the tree..it was Lyndsey...I so remember those days.

Not a bad idea, I just put my tree in my pack and play. The kiddos can see it and touch it but, they can't knock it over although; all of the ornaments are at the top. LOL Maybe I will be able to have a nice big tree next year too.
